I’m Katie O’Neill.
As a former litigator at some of the most prestigious law firms in the United States, I have spent the last several years of my career helping clients successfully resolve a wide variety of legal disputes. From unpaid invoices to shareholder disputes, to civil theft, to mass actions involving thousands of plaintiffs, my practice has ranged in size and scope and equipped me to serve clients resolve matters both large and small. My clients have spanned across industries and have included artists and creatives, technology companies and many more. Recognizing the financial and emotional burden litigation can place on people and businesses, I strive to help clients obtain the results they seek efficiently, effectively and transparently.
While in law school, I worked as a full time extern for a federal judge in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and was an Executive Articles Editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy. After school, I began my career at one of the largest firms in St. Louis before moving to Chicago and, most recently, represented clients in mass tort, bankruptcy and other complex litigation disputes at one of the largest and most prominent law firms in the world.
Outside of work, I am an avid cook and lover of all forms of creative arts. I serve on the board of the Chicago Sculpture Exhibit, the associate board for Lawyers of the Creative Arts and the Creative Arts Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association. I also sing in a Chicago-based chorus. I enjoy exploring restaurants, musical performances, bookstores and all of the incredible small businesses the City of Chicago has to offer.
